PM Narendra Modi criticizes the RJD in Bihar for Lalu Yadav’s foot close to the Ambedkar portrait row: “No consideration for Dalits”

A viral video that captured the RJD chief’s feet close to BR Ambedkar’s image at his 78th birthday celebrations sparked controversy.
Lalu Prasad Yadav, the leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), came under fire from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday for allegedly “insulting” BR Ambedkar at his birthday festivities.
During Ambedkar’s 78th birthday celebrations, a video of the RJD chief’s foot near his picture went viral earlier this week, igniting uproar in Bihar.
“The RJD recently altered Babasaheb’s portrait, which was seen by the entire nation…. At a rally in Siwan, Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared, “I am aware that these individuals lack regard for Dalits and the backwards, thus they will never apologize..”
“While the RJD and Congress place his photo at their feet, Modi keeps Babasaheb in his heart,” the prime minister continued..”
Modi continued his assault on the RJD and the Congress, accusing them of causing poverty and lawlessness in Bihar while they were in power.
Modi said that the RJD and the Congress were to blame for the widespread labor migration from Bihar as well as the state’s decades-long poverty.
“Enriching their own families while ignoring the needs of the people” was another of his claims about the RJD-Congress government paradigm.
According to PTI, the prime minister claimed that while the masses remained impoverished, the leaders of the Congress grew wealthy during the license raj.
The prime minister also emphasized the NDA government’s accomplishments, pointing out that Bihar has seen substantial infrastructure growth recently.
“Electricity connections have been installed in over 1.5 crore homes. Currently, 1.5 crore houses have access to water. Over 45,000 Common Service Centers have been established. This speed must be consistently increased for Bihar to advance. About 55,000 kilometers of rural roads have been constructed in Bihar in the past ten years, the prime minister stated, as reported by ANI.
He went on to say that Bihar will be essential to India’s economic growth.
Later this year, Bihar will hold elections for its assembly.
